MEET EMILY D.

No direction, no grounding and no community; That’s how Emily D. felt after landing in Boston directly after graduating from college in Washington, D.C. A competitive sports player while growing up, Emily transitioned to Yoga during her sophomore year of college. But then life got hectic. Graduating from college early tends to do that. Yoga fell to the wayside. After “floating” around for a few months, Emily realized she needed to get back into Yoga. It was during a mountain pose that she had an “aha” moment and decided to put down a deposit for teacher training. Emily knew she needed something to anchor herself to, a community that would support her and hold her accountable. Yoga did just that.

HOW MUCH IS TOO MUCH PEANUT BUTTER?

Who doesn’t love peanut butter, or any nut butter for that matter? But is there such a thing as too much of this delicious spread? Nuts, nut butters and seeds contain high amounts of healthy fats and are great sources of protein and fiber, which all help control your hunger and reduce cravings. However, healthy fat is still fat, and like anything, if these items are over-consumed, it can negatively affect your weight loss efforts.
